This study was undertaken to characterize the mineral paragenesis and metal zoning at the property scale, evaluate the potentialsources of ore-related metals, quantify the relationship between intensity of alteration and gold grade,and propose a comprehensive genetic model for the Carlin-type. Au deposites at the southern part of the Goldstrike property, Nevada.

The Sawayaerdun gold deposit is hosted by Carbonaceous metasediments and is considered to be the langest Muruntau-type gold deposit in the Chinese Thianshan metallogenic belt. Gold mineralization at Sawayerdun occurs in quatzveins associated with three mayor hydrothermal events: an early, barren quartz vein stage, middle stage mineralized quartz veins with pyrite and late carbonate (-quartz)veins.

The Bhukia-Jagpura gold prospect is hosted by a Paleoproterozoic metasedimentary rock sequence that constitutes the lowermost part of the AravalliSupergroup,lying in close proximity to the basement-cover contact. A combinet ore petrographic,La-ICPMS and EPMA studies of iron sulfides and sulfarsenides from the prospect has revealed four varienties of pyrite and two varienties of arsenopyrite with different trace element compositions.

The Baiyinnuo`er zinc-lead deposit (32,74 Mt at 5,44% Zn, 2.02% Pb and 31,36 g/t Ag),located in the south segment of the Great Xing`an Range,is the lagest Zn-Pb deposit in northern China. Skarn and orebodies mainly occur between the differnt units of the Huanggangliang Formation, or within the contact zone between the intrusions and Permian marble.
